As we follow through the seasons, and realise that one year is never the same as the other, it's nice to know that we are fortunate enough to have land in such a special part of the Barosa Valley.
Hand Pruning.
Starts end of May and carries on until the end of August.
The vines are cut back to approx 15-20 spurs with 2 buds/spur. It is a very important process to keeping crop yields at a consistant level.
A flowering bunch in spring.
Its a good indication of what the crop will be like, with the 'all being well' factor taken into consideration.
Ready for harvest
The grapes are havested over a 4-6 week period. But this can change very quickly depending on what the weather has to offer.
